Platinum Credit (U) Ltd, a leading regional microfinance institution serving employed individuals across Eastern Africa, is recruiting 50 Loans Officers to expand its Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) lending product in Kampala. This is a high-volume opportunity for driven individuals eager to build a career in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and promote the company’s SME loan products and services to prospective borrowers.
• Recruit and onboard eligible clients, collecting and verifying all required loan documentation.
• Appraise loan applications and recommend the most suitable loan products for each client’s situation.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and take steps to maintain overall portfolio quality.
• Follow up proactively with clients to ensure timely repayments.
• Manage delinquent accounts using effective debt recovery strategies.
• Respond promptly to client enquiries, concerns, and complaints.
• Adhere to all company lending policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE / A-Level).
• Must be 20 years of age or above.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
