Driver – Fuel & Water Bowser

McDermott, an international engineering and construction company active in the energy sector, is hiring a Driver to operate fuel and water bowsers on site. The role centres on safe, well-controlled refuelling of equipment and dust-suppression operations in line with strict health, safety and environment (HSE) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the fuel bowser dispensing system and keep accurate fuel logs.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections (tyres, brakes, hoses and pumps).
• Control fuel issuance carefully to prevent waste and theft.
• Run water bowser operations for dust suppression.
• Keep equipment clean and mechanically sound.
• Follow HSE requirements and take part in safety briefings.
• Report mechanical issues and maintain operational records.
• Apply correct grounding and spill-management procedures.

Requirements

• A valid heavy-truck driving licence (Class C and C1).
• A certificate or training in fuel and water operations.
• At least 2 years operating fuel and water bowsers.
• Knowledge of fire safety, spill response and HSE procedures.
• Good English communication and record-keeping skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
