True North Consult Ltd is recruiting a Head of Supply Chain Management in Kampala for a bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out the bank’s supply chain strategy, policies, standards and operating model
- Lead strategic sourcing, procurement operations, supplier relationships, contract governance, inventory control and asset management
- Make sure procurement complies with internal policy, regulation, audit and risk requirements
- Drive cost optimisation and value for money, and oversee supplier performance scorecards and contract lifecycle management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field
- Professional certification such as CIPS or CPSM is desirable
- At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, including leadership in procurement or supply chain, preferably in banking or a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of procurement governance and contract management
