Loans Officer – SME Loans (50 Positions)

Platinum Credit (U) Ltd, one of Uganda’s leading credit providers, is recruiting Loans Officers to grow its Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) loan product. This is a field-based sales and client-management role ideal for driven individuals who enjoy meeting people, building a loan book and helping small businesses access the financing they need to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell SME loan products to business owners and prospective borrowers in your assigned area.
• Identify and onboard eligible clients, guiding them through the application and required documentation.
• Appraise loan applications and recommend the most suitable product for each client.
• Monitor the performance and quality of your loan portfolio.
• Follow up on repayments and proactively manage overdue or delinquent accounts.
• Build lasting client relationships and resolve customer queries professionally.
• Work within Platinum Credit's lending policies and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

• At least a UACE (A-Level) certificate.
• Aged 20 years and above.
• At least 12 months of relevant work experience.
• Strong numerical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
