Reporting and Document Control Engineer

Q-Sourcing is recruiting, on behalf of TotalEnergies, a Reporting and Document Control Engineer to fill one vacancy in Kampala. The role covers project reporting and the control of project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate project reports, dashboards and presentations and distribute them to stakeholders.
• Review consultant and contractor reports and give constructive comments.
• Maintain the Project Management Information System (PMIS) that supports reporting.
• Coordinate project documentation governance in line with company and client requirements, and protect data integrity.
• Cover project controls tasks for planners when needed.
• Set up and run document control processes: receive, review and distribute drawings, specifications, contracts and reports.
• Maintain electronic and physical filing with version control, naming conventions and security.
• Track documents through review and approval, audit them for compliance, and issue transmittals and registers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Information Management Systems or Monitoring and Evaluation.
• At least five years of experience in reporting and documentation management; oil and gas project experience is preferred.
• Experience using and maintaining a document management system.
• Understanding of project technical and reporting documentation requirements.
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), Adobe Acrobat Pro and Power BI.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management.
• Experience generating reports and statistics.
