Through its core packages — which include asset financing, insurance, safety training, and digital credit profiles — Tugende has supported over 70,000 clients across Uganda and Kenya. The company is now hiring Sales Agents for its Wakiso and Mityana branches to drive growth in those communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain relationships with new and existing clients through clear, responsive communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Tugende’s products and the sales and credit processes involved in acquiring leases.
- Design and execute sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets.
- Generate new business through community outreach, networking, calling prospects, and attending relevant events.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive product presentations and demonstrations, following up with potential clients in a timely manner.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences; contribute to marketing benchmarks and research.
- Maintain accurate client records, interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to branch management as required.
- Collaborate with branch teams and the marketing department to develop targeted outreach strategies for the local community.

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a self-motivated, positive attitude.
- Ability to build rapport and earn client trust quickly.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems or sales software.
