Senior Customer Sales & Service Agent

Emirates Group is recruiting a Senior Customer Sales & Service Agent in Kampala. You will sell Emirates tickets and services, help customers manage their travel plans, and support the team leader and fellow agents in meeting commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Give customers excellent service, explain Emirates fares, issue tickets and sell related products by understanding customer needs.
• Apply airline rules correctly when issuing tickets and brief customers on passport, visa and health requirements and check-in details.
• Grow revenue by offering Skywards, amendments, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings and upgraded fares to meet sales targets.
• Support travel agents with bookings, special arrangements and fare quoting and ticketing guidance.
• Handle online queries and complex cases such as medical cases and special services.
• Act as first point of contact for complex bookings and difficult customer interactions raised by other agents, and deputise for team leaders when absent.
• Keep up to date with Emirates Group news and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• Education to at least GCSE or A Level standard, or equivalent.
• About 1 year of experience in a contact centre or reservations office in the airline or travel industry.
• Knowledge of airline and travel industry procedures, fares and ticketing, Skywards and reservations systems.
• Computer skills in Windows, Word, Excel and email.
