Senior Sales Manager

Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is a leading regional microfinance institution providing loan products to employed individuals across Uganda, including civil servant loans, logbook finance, SME loans, and private sector credit facilities. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager based in Kampala to spearhead portfolio growth and lead a results-driven sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies that consistently deliver portfolio growth while maintaining high loan quality
• Design and execute marketing and sales plans that boost performance at the individual, team, and business-unit level
• Lead recruitment efforts to build a motivated and target-oriented sales team aligned with growth objectives
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
• Oversee ongoing training and professional development initiatives to strengthen team capability
• Develop and implement staff retention strategies that build engagement and reduce turnover
• Champion customer satisfaction by ensuring adherence to the company’s service charter

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of proven experience in sales leadership and team development
• Hands-on experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
