Shrink Bundling Tunnel Operator

Dalilang Foods & Beverages is hiring a Shrink Bundling Tunnel Operator in Nakasongola.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate shrink bundling tunnels and film wrapping machinery following approved procedures
• Monitor heat tunnel temperature and thread film correctly for stable bundles
• Inspect wrapped packs for seal tightness, alignment, pack count and integrity
• Make authorised machine adjustments and request technical help for mechanical faults
• Isolate defective packs or packaging materials

Requirements

• Ordinary or National Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Food Processing, Production Technology or related technical fields; or a relevant national, craft or technical trade certificate or TVET qualification
• Heat tunnel regulation and shrink film threading
• Accurate production documentation
