Truck Drivers (Mini Canters)

Info-Code Consults Limited is hiring three (3) Truck Drivers to support its logistics and delivery operations across Kampala and upcountry locations. Drivers will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of fast-moving consumable goods, operating mini canter trucks in a professional and customer-focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect consignments from the warehouse and deliver them to designated distribution centres and customers.
• Handle all goods with care during loading, transit, and offloading to prevent damage or loss.
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Deliver packages to customers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Carry out regular vehicle safety and performance checks, and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, fuel usage reports, and other required documentation.
• Process cash or digital payments upon delivery where applicable, and complete relevant invoices.

Requirements

• Certificate in a Driving course from a recognised institution.
• At least 2 years of driving experience in a commercial or competitive environment.
• A valid Driving Licence with a minimum of 2 licence classes.
• A valid National Identification Card.
• A certificate in Basic Mechanics is an added advantage.
